Tell your MP to support action on eating disorders

Beat campaigns for increased funding and better treatment for people with eating disorders.

Following the General Election on 8 June, Parliament has resumed with 650 MPs newly elected to serve their constituents. There isn’t a better time to ask them to support the issues that matter to you. They are your voice in Westminster, so it’s important they know what matters to you and how they can help.

To help us improve the treatment landscape for those with eating disorders, fill in the form opposite to send a message to your MP.

We’ve given you a head-start by drafting some content asking your MP to support the implementation of waiting time targets for under 18s and also asks for more information about when targets will be introduced for those over the age of 18. Personalised messages can have even more of an impact, so we would encourage you to adapt this to add your own words and experiences.

Please note: This is only suitable to be sent to MPs in England. We will be running separate campaigns calling on the introduction of waiting times standards for Scotland and Wales very soon. If you are in Scotland or Wales and would like to contact your MP about this sooner, please get in touch with the team via campaigning@b-eat.co.uk and we can support you to do this.
